When you think about the stereotypical cocktail, you automatically often think of a cocktail in a martini glass. A Martini is a classic cocktail that consists of gin and dry white vermouth. There is also a version where the gin is replaced with vodka, the so-called vodka martini.
A Martini is often served in a cocktail glass with an olive and is especially popular in the United States. Also, many people will recognize this cocktail from the Dry Martini, “shaken, not stirred”, that James Bond orders all the time.
Methods: stir all the ingredients with ice. Fine strain into a prechilled cocktail glass.
Garnish: lemon zest, olive
