They were turbulent and dizzying times. The industrialization had taken hold all over the world, the World Exhibition in Paris showed the latest technological developments. Darwinism was broadly supported and Freud\u2019s theories were leading in psychiatry and psychology. They were all inspired by religion, but they also doubted it. No wonder Hendrik Nicolaas had doubts of his own. Some believe it was hidden in the Rosslyn Chapel in Scotland.
