Dutch Collins
The Dutch Collins is a nice refreshing cocktail that is especially suited for a great warm Summer’s day.
Instructions
This cocktail was born around the start of the 19th century. It was mixed for the first time in the Limmer’s Hotel in London, by a barman called Collins. It’s fresh because of the lime juice and the generous helping of mineral water makes it very drinkable.
Method: shake all the ingredients, minus the soda, with ice. Strain into a Collins glass on crushed ice. Then add the soda water.
Garnish: slice of lime or orange
Ingredients
60 ml gin
30 ml lime juice
15 ml sugar syrup
Sparkling water
