Bramble
The Bramble is one of the most iconic cocktails of the 1980’s, invented by one of the most influential bartenders of all times: Dick Bradsell (1959-2016).
Instructions
Bradsell, who also invented the Espresso Martini, came up with the Bramble in 1984 in Fred’s Club, London. The cocktail is one of the modern classic of the current international cocktail culture. By using gin in cocktails in a decade when it all seemed to revolve around vodka, this accessible cocktail managed to interest vodka drinkers in gin. Thanks to Bradsell’s Bramble, gin slowly regained its popularity.
Method: shake with ice and pour into a short drink glass filled with crushed ice. Drip the crème de cassis on top.
Garnish: slice of lime and blackberry
Ingredients
35 ml gin

ROARING TWENTIES PARTY
(Re)live the Roaring Twenties. A cocktail theme party. The 1920’s are better known as the Roaring Twenties.
Flappers, gangsters and bootleggers came together in secret behind the closed doors of the speakeasies. The atmosphere was sensual and electric. Underground clubs pulsated with ragtime and the music of Cab Calloway, Al Jolson and Louis Armstrong. Women wearing headgear with feathers, pearls and Mary Janes kicked up the hems of their glittery dresses while they danced. Men with pinstripe suits and pencil moustaches drank cocktails and smoked fine cigars, despite prohibition.
We can organize your complete party, including the bar, bartenders, DJ’s and even a band.
